SEO Intel turns crawling into local competitive intelligence. Crawl your own site and competitors, analyze everything on your own machine, and turn the findings into implementation-ready actions. Use it manually, or pair it with OpenClaw for an agent-driven workflow.
The free tier gives you crawling, raw SQLite data, technical visibility, and now Site Watch. Solo (€19.99/mo or €199.99/yr, 14-day free trial) unlocks AI analysis, competitor comparisons, dashboards, and action exports.

Product
SEO Intel turns raw data into clear visual insights. Dashboard, competitor comparisons, and analysis, all locally in your browser.
Interactive HTML dashboards generated from your own crawl data. Stat cards, trend charts and competitor overlays — no cloud, no account, nothing leaves your machine.
Score every page for how cleanly AI assistants can cite it — now including a 7th signal: whether your robots.txt lets AI crawlers in at all.
Topic-gap analysis against your real competitors — where they go deeper, ranked by buyer intent, plus the topics you already lead.
Call your local SQLite intelligence as native tools from Claude Code, Cursor, Cline or any MCP host — list_projects, run_crawl, scan_site, tech_audit, setup_project and more.
The seo-autofix skill closes the loop: crawl → audit → fix → verify on localhost, repeating until the score clears your target — no human in between.
Recommended workflow
SEO Intel stands on its own. But if you want the fastest path from crawling to execution, OpenClaw adds guided setup, agent workflows, and a much better way to turn analysis into action.
Guided installation, model routing, competitor-to-action exports, and a direct path from waiting room drafts to implementation. SEO Intel handles the data layer. OpenClaw unlocks the guided agent layer.
Install from npm, run local crawls and dashboards, use the CLI, and interpret the outputs yourself.
Guided setup, agent orchestration, stronger competitor synthesis, and a faster path from insight to implementation.
Features
SEO Intel combines crawling, data analysis and AI reporting into a single tool that runs entirely on your machine.
Full browser rendering. JavaScript sites, SPAs, dynamic content. No headless limitations.
Local Ollama AI. Competitor analysis, content audit, keyword mapping, all on your machine.
Interactive reports straight to your browser. Territory map, link DNA, keyword heatmap, technical scorecard.
Score every page (0-100) for how well AI assistants can cite it. Seven signals: entity authority, structured claims, answer density, Q&A proximity, freshness, schema coverage, and AI-crawler access — does your robots.txt even let AI bots in?
Topic gap analysis vs competitors. Find what they cover that you don't, and where they go deeper. Prioritised by buyer intent.
Generate AEO-optimised blog post drafts from your Intelligence Ledger. Pre-scored for citability before publishing.
Always-on site health monitoring between crawl runs. Health Score (0–100), trend tracking, 10 detected change types, severity-classified events, and a “What’s New” feed. Like Ahrefs Site Audit, but local and private.
Ships a Model Context Protocol server, so Claude Code, Cursor, Cline or any MCP host can call your local intelligence as native tools — list_projects, get_intel, run_crawl, run_citability_audit, scan_site, tech_audit, setup_project and more.
The seo-autofix skill closes the loop with no human in between: crawl → audit → fix → verify on localhost, repeating until each page clears your citability target.
Full audits judge your content the way bots see it — raw, no-JavaScript HTML — and auto-generate the JSON-LD you’re missing, including FAQPage schema, ready to paste straight into your pages.
Full command-line tool and web-based setup wizard. Choose how you want to work.
All data stored in local SQLite. Queries, comparisons, time series. You own it.
No cloud storage, no analytics, no third parties. Data never leaves your machine.
Dashboard
SEO Intel generates interactive HTML dashboards from crawled data. Everything runs locally in your browser.
See which topics each competitor owns, how their link profiles compare, and where the open gaps are — all from one crawl.
Six dimensions at a glance. Instantly spot who leads on content depth, technical SEO or schema — and where you can overtake them.
Clicks, impressions, CTR and position trends in one view, with top queries colour-coded by rank so you know exactly where to push.
Next layer
SEO Intel is not just a crawler or report generator. The local SQLite database, dashboards and competitor data can be turned directly into build tasks, documentation, landing pages, structural fixes and development queues.
Crawl your own site and competitors. HTML, headings, links, technical signals and AI extractions stay in your own local database, not in a black box.
crawl → extract → sqlite
Compare yourself against Helius, QuickNode or others. Surface missing trust pages, onboarding gaps, docs structure issues and the next pages that are actually worth building.
you vs competitor → action export
Store drafts, audits and new pages in a waiting room first. From there they can be fed to Claude Code, Codex or other agents for implementation, review and final push to production.
waiting room → brief → edit → push

FAQ
SEO Intel is a local, AI-powered competitive analysis tool that runs entirely on your own machine. You install it from npm, point it at your site and your competitors, and it crawls, extracts structured data with local AI models, runs competitive analysis, and generates interactive HTML dashboards. All data stays in a local SQLite database that you own.
Not really. If you can open a terminal and paste a command, you can run SEO Intel. The installation is a single npm command, and the built-in setup wizard walks you through everything: choosing your target site, adding competitors, selecting AI models, and configuring your first crawl. The wizard runs in your browser at localhost, so the experience feels more like a web app than a command-line tool.
Everything runs on your computer. Crawl data, AI extractions, analysis results, and dashboards are all stored in a local SQLite database in your project folder. Nothing is sent to any cloud service unless you explicitly choose cloud analysis through OpenClaw. This means no usage limits, no monthly API calls ticking down, and complete ownership of your competitive intelligence data.
SEO Intel uses Ollama to run open-source models locally on your machine. For extraction (processing each crawled page), the recommended model is Qwen 3.5 9B, which needs roughly 5 GB of RAM. For analysis (the big competitive comparison), you can use Qwen 3 14B locally or step up to Qwen 3.5 27B for deeper results. For the deepest analysis, cloud frontier models like Claude Opus 4.6, Gemini 3.1 Pro, or GPT-5.4 are available through the OpenClaw agent layer.
Ahrefs and SEMrush are cloud platforms that charge monthly for access to their crawl indexes. SEO Intel crawls sites yourself, extracts structured data with AI that those tools do not offer (pricing tables, CTA patterns, tech stacks, entity maps), and stores everything locally. You pay once for the license, run unlimited crawls, and own the raw data forever. The trade-off is that SEO Intel does not have a backlink index, so it complements rather than fully replaces those tools.
The free tier gives you unlimited crawling with no page limits, access to the raw SQLite database, and a lightweight crawl-only dashboard showing page inventory, internal link structure, and technical signals. There is no AI extraction, no competitive analysis, and no full dashboard visualizations on the free tier. It is designed to let you evaluate the crawling quality before upgrading.
Solo unlocks the full pipeline: AI extraction that processes every crawled page into structured data (pricing, tech stack, CTAs, entities, schema markup), competitive analysis that compares you against all your competitors across multiple dimensions, the full interactive dashboard with 20+ visualizations, action exports that generate implementation-ready briefs, Google Search Console integration, and multi-project support.
Standard crawling processes roughly one page per 1.5 seconds, so a 100-page site takes about two and a half minutes. Advanced mode is slower at around 3 to 4 seconds per page because it uses full browser rendering with persistent sessions. If you enable AI extraction during the crawl, add roughly 2 to 8 seconds per page depending on your hardware and model size. The setup wizard shows a time estimate before you start.
Yes. SEO Intel is a Node.js application, so it runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux. The npm installation is identical on all platforms. There are also platform-specific launchers included: a .command file for macOS, a .bat file for Windows, and a shell script for Linux, so you can start the full pipeline with a double-click without opening a terminal.
OpenClaw is an AI agent framework that adds a guided execution layer on top of SEO Intel. Instead of running CLI commands manually, OpenClaw can orchestrate the full pipeline, route analysis to cloud models, and turn competitive findings into implementation tasks that coding agents can execute directly. ClawHub is the skill registry where SEO Intel is published, so installing through OpenClaw is a single command.
Yes, Solo is billed monthly or annually and you can cancel at any time from your Lemon Squeezy dashboard. If you cancel, you keep full access until the end of your billing period, and all data you have already collected stays on your machine permanently. The free tier continues to work after cancellation, so your crawl data and SQLite database remain usable.
